I have a Plex server running on an Asustor NAS and Plex player currently on a Windows 10 box. It works fine sending audio to my computer. I want to send the audio from the NAS to my network-connected Pioneer AV receiver. Windows Media Player sees the Pioneer and works fine. How do I get Plex to recognize the Pioneer AV?
This cannot work. Plex clients are not DLNA and therefore cannot talk to other DLNA devices like your Pioneer. If you have the Plex DLNA server enabled, you can use any other DLNA client to cast to your Pioneer.
Thank you for the prompt reply. I am now able to connect to my Pioneer AV but no audio. Could it be a port problem?
