Plex displays my movies from my computer on the TV fine and the view menu can switch from the default RECOMMENDED to LIBRARY view. But when you exit PLEX and come back in the LIBRARY view is not saved and it switches back to the recommended view.

In the Plex app settings on the Samsung, look for a “Remember Selected Tab” setting.
