For some strange reason when I try to upgrade my PMS above the current version it is on, My Libraries disappear.
I tried a few months back to go to 1.26 then 1.27 but I ended up going back to 1.25.9 and everything works normal and all the Libraries are visible. I thought maybe there was some database upgrade going on in the background so I remember leaving it on 1.26/7 for a few days but the Libraries would never appear.
I tried to go to 1.28 the other day and the same thing happened. I reverted back to 1.25.9 and its all working normally again.
Server upgrades were working fine for me previously, I would periodically upgrade but for some weird reason I cant go beyond 1.25.9 now.
Any help on shedding light on this would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the server logs as well.
No problem, I will upgrade the server to the latest version, download the logs and post back here when done. Thanks.
Update: Ok, server upgraded to latest version 1.29.0.6219. Libraries are not showing again. See the screenshot for what I get when I click on any of my libraries. Updated logs are also attached. Plex Media Server Logs_2022-09-16_18-28-58.zip (3.5 MB)
^^ Correct. There is something wrong with your database. There is a database update that is needed but it fails so these newer PMS are unable to read the information for your libraries correctly.
Update: Thank you all for your help.
The REINDEX; command did the trick. After repairing the DB and turning PMS back on, it is now running the latest version and all my Libraries are visible and working.
Thank you for the assistance, greatly appreciated!
