Can't watch anything at all due to constant error

I just paid for the one time payment ready to watch my favorite show on my phone then as I press play and start up the show it shows “an error occurred while attempting to play this video”

Things I tried to fix it:

  • looked over about 4 websites about this problem that say they have “Fixes” but still not solved
  • logged out and logged in
  • re-installed app
  • changed quality, subtitles, player, practically everything in the settings
  • Tried a different show
    Nada, I just simply can’t watch anything.

How can I look up the versions on my phone? and what do I need to provide from my android to help solve this issue?
