Cast Credits across different Library types

From a movie listing, it only shows other movies in that library.

Then you’re not yet using the new feature.
Make sure your libraries are configured to use the Plex Movie and Plex TV Series agents and have their metadata refreshed. What you’re asking for is exactly how the Discover Credits works.

There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to also reflect a person’s involvement in music projects (e.g. artists showing up in movies etc.).

About artists who are both actors and singers

Just to clarify… you want to be able to display (music) albums on the People pages in addition to the existing media such as movies and shows? I suppose the tricky part about that is to actually linking that information. There’s a lot of same-named actors/artists who are not the same person, so Plex will need to depend on some unique identifier for both worlds – and while a number of artists have their own IMDb ID, that won’t be the case for everybody; nor will the music metadata providers nec…
