Change channels that are integrated to fire-tv live guide

I’ve noticed Plex live tv channels on the fire-tv live guide. That is awesome. But out of the 50 channels none that I watch much. Plex has channles that none of the other providers have, like euronews and reuters. I would love to see those, and other news channels on the fire tv live guide.

You’re going to have to take that up with Amazon. Like Plex in many ways - they’re sure they know what you want, so they don’t bother asking or giving you any options - that I know of anyway.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re actually suggesting?!
You wan the live tv streaming channels of Plex to show on some of the native Fire TV apps / channels?

Plex’s live tv channels are already integrated into Fire TV’s Live Experience & Channel Guide. Well, 50 of them. I was asking if these channels that are showing up in the fire tv live guide could be changed.
Reading the other response, it sounds like it is amazon who decides which channels are integrated.

I suggest reading the article and running a few more googles on the subject. Some experiments could be revealing.

So, in that regard I went to the FireTV “Live TV” icon in the FireTV Settings and clicked it. I was then at a screen where the installed Live TV sources were. I selected Plex, from the 3 available sources (IMDB TV/FireTV News/Plex), searched for channels and none of my 2 local channels showed up.

I then enabled Plex Live TV (that add-packed wonder of modern media), rebooted my stick and now there are 50 channels in the lineup.

So, there still seems to be no way to select what FireTV incorporates into it’s UI. At this point I have to say that’s a random FireTV Selection. A highlight perhaps that would trigger you to start drilling, if you want to see more. There could be some benefit to making some channels “Favorites”, from the available sources. I can’t see any I like… maybe you will…lol

Regarding Plex not finding one of my many (2) local channels (one Plex is recording from ATM, so I have to assume Plex knows it’s there), but 50 of Plex’s Ad-Supported Channels - I have to say something is either broken or working exactly as designed. Pick one.
