Change DVR Pre/Post record to seconds

Could the units for the pre/post record be changed to seconds instead of minutes?

I’ve noticed issues in my DVR where the beginning or end of a show is missed because the show started slightly early or late, or the tuner took a couple seconds to lock. I got around this issue setting the pre/post record to 1 minute each, but that is way more than I need. Changing the units to seconds would allow much better control.

Is this not annoying to anyone else? I’d love to specify just 10 seconds of pre/post record time instead of a full minute.
