<There must be something I am missing here but I cannot see what.
I have two video based courses ripped and stored in individual .mp4 files – one file for each lesson, 24 files per course and two courses.
Each file is named with plain language titles and when they are shown in a typical File Explorer directory the title can be selected and played on a Windows 11 workstation.
Using the PLEX software on the server I
added a Library (+)
Library type = Other Videos
Name = someName
Browse for Media Folder
And it looks good – all of the individual .mp4 files are listed with their plain language titles and I can select any of them for viewing from the sever setting.
Now I exit the server environment and start PLEX on my Amazon Fire client device and the library that I added and can see on the server does not display on the PLEX Fire TV client.
There must be something I am missing here but ??
