Would it be possible to have a plex client on oppo? And not just dlna.
Or is “high end” players not a priority? Or maybe oppo won’t allow it?
Maybe just to have the option from plex server to use the oppo as a dmr device?

this would be great at all! But no native Plex client for the Oppo`s until now... The only way you can choose is the MHL Streaming Stick by Roku, but with some Limitations.

just researching this atm myself, from what ive read the roku stick only streams wirelessly, it doesnt seem to tap into the Oppo's ethernet connection, can anyone confirm or deny this?
i feel this would be a point of bother for people with high quality (large file size) files looking to exploit the processing power of an Oppo player...

yes, the streaming stick does not use the ethernet connection by the Oppo, only WiFi by the stick itself...;-(
