When I watch a TV show and an episode is finished I often need to know the time to see if I have time to watch another episode.
For some reason there is no clock displayed other than on the home screen. Can this be a new feature maybe?
I know for sure I would like it. It seems so unnessesary to Alt-Tab to Windows just to check what the clock is, when Plex is perfectly capable of giving me the time already :)
Hi doughowel, welcome to the forums. You mention Alt-Tabbing in Windows so I'll assume this is in regards to Plex Home Theater...
This is more of a feature request for skins rather than Plex in general as it is up to the skin creator to decide if/where the clock is displayed. Some skins do display the time when you pause the currently playing video. Most display the current time and time to finish. Outside of video playback and on various screens - some skins display the clock only on the home screen, while others display it on all screens... often with a toggle in settings. This is a skin specific feature and implementation.
I can't recall for certain and I don't use it but I believe the night skin has the option to have the clock on every screen.

Yes, it's the PHT apps I'm reffering to. Using both the Windows version and the Mac version.
I actually havent tried any skins until today. I used skins in XBMC, OpenElec, and even on the good old Xbox with the original XBMC :)
Skins are awesome, and I found several that does exactly this. But at the same time I want to stay "Vanilla" and use the original Plex skin. My GF would also agree (she will freak out when/if I change).
So this is probably a Plex Skin feature request. Any easy way to move this threat to the correct sub-forum?
Anyways, thanks for your reply. At least now I have a clock on my own computers, but the dedicated media computer will have to wait - for now :)
I think PMC used to have this, I really also miss having the clock everywhere... it would also tell you what time it would be when the media would end, I really miss that... while I agree this is a skin request issue since plex has made it clear there is one "supported" skin it would be nice to see it in the default skin
