With all the new updates for Plex that we have seen lately, I was wondering why the Collections field problem that has been known for several years has never been addressed. With multiple types collections especially in the Music section you still cannot scroll down in the Collection field to choose what to associate the item with. Could you please address this problem in your next update, Thanks
I guess you’re referring to the popup with existing collection names to pick from that shows when you click into the Collections field requires you to scroll a little further down after it appears?
Wasn’t aware that’s such a major issue… is it really? I can scroll to all of them. What browser and version of Plex Web are you using?
I’m using Version 1.21.1.3830 and you can’t scroll down through the collections, the scroll bar on the right just clears the field when you try to use it, and the arrow keys only highlight what can be seen only
I read your initial post and didn’t understand why you were having issues; I do now. In order to scroll the collection tag list, you’ll need to use the scroll wheel on your mouse, if you have one. Or perhaps if you’re using a laptop with a touchpad, a two-finger scroll. Just make sure you scroll from inside the portion of the list that you can see.
If you’re not using a mouse with a scroll wheel, or a touchpad which supports scrolling, I’m not sure what to suggest. For what it’s worth, I see the same behavior as you describe if I attempt to grab the main dialog’s scroll bar with the collection tag list in view.
Thank you very much, tried to use the scroll on the right instead of just using the mouse scroll that did the trick, it’s just one of those overlooked items not well described
