I recnely encoded all of my library to HEVC and noticed they all show up as the container being converted from MKV to MKV. I scrubbed all of the subs out but cant figure out why.

Thank you for the reply. It peculiar though as the upload speed is set o 1000mbps and remote limit is set to max on the server side. On the client side it set to max (original) during playback. Is there something else I should adjust? The server is on fios running at 800mbps so its not a network limitation that im aware of
I have encountered this problem with several of the Roku’s connected to my server. This causes a direct stream and, in many cases, causes the audio to transcode when it isn’t necessary
This think was due to an audio sync problem that was fixed long ago in a Roku or Plex update
I have this setting disabled on at least 4 different model Roku’s and haven’t had any problem playing 1,000’s of files with AAC audio over the last year and half
I think someone needs to raise this issue internally. At the very least this setting does not need to be enabled by default
I recall enabling or verifying it was enabled a while ago when first starting the server due to AV sync issues, hoping it would help. But I fixed that with better Av encoding and reading Rokus audio capabilities, and never thought to disable it.
