At present movies have editions displayed but the addition of the country of origin displayed, in a similar way, would help when browsing and would allow both TV and Movies to be correctly allocated in Categories. At present I add a tag to identify which country the show belongs to and get a more concise list in categories. I am a big fan of foreign language Movies and TV. Plex misses most in its auto allocation to country categories.
Plex should already tag the files based on their production country (countries).
There’s an existing suggestion asking for the country to be exposed on the movie / show details pages, e.g. using a flag or label. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion, I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
