create a playlist for my TV shows
I am looking for a playlist within plex or a 3rd party add-on

Background:
I stream plex to my ipad, which connects to my tube (250lb) TV.


What I am looking for is plex or a 3rd party add-on, where I can create a channel called "comedy." Within "comedy" I could add, lets say, Seinfeld, All ways Sunny in Philadelphia and Mr. Show. From these shows plex or the 3rd party add-on would pick a random show.

Does something like this exist in the plex world?

Same here. I wrote a playlist creator for Boxee that created randomized lists like what you are talking about, but apparently Plex doesn’t read playlist files. I can’t believe this isn’t requested more often.

+1 playlist support, please. even if i can’t load a programmed one, just let me add a few shows to a queue.
