Hi,
I’ve recently discover the dark mode in spotify (as using it on my nvidia shield link to my tv), and it’s great for limit light effusion from the tv during the night (even when most of the color is black). So I think it would be also a great feature to add to plex when we are listening to music !

Isn’t the default color palette of the various Plex apps rather dark anyway?
If you’re talking about Plexamp, you can switch the theme color in Settings > Experience > Background > Theme.
It’s on tv via Nvidia shield.
For example I took those photo from spotify :
We have only a small cover picture on the dark mode, and no background, and they apply a sort of darkening filter I guess.
It allows to minimize the light project by the tv screen.
So this suggestion isn’t so much about „a dark mode“ but replicating the look & feel of Spotify‘s dark mode?
In fact it’s because I don’t like the light of my tv when i listen to my music during the night, so the dark mode of spotify allow me to be almost completly in the dark while I’m still listening to my music from the nvidia shield.
I know it’s very specific 
Just as the title suggest, it would be really awesome if you can add this simple but very convenient feature to the music player on the android tv app, similar to what Spotify did (turn the background black and dim the album cover at the same time). Hope you will at least consider it.
As the title implies, it would be fantastic if you could incorporate this straightforward yet incredibly practical feature—which turns the background dark and dims the album cover simultaneously—into the music player on the Android TV app, just like Spotify did. I hope you’ll give it some thought.
