Dashboard and DB issues

Having issues with dashboards loading and Followed some threads and came across corrupt or malformed DB as a possible problem.

I followed the steps in https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/?_ga=2.103294407.65068561.1558754738-1713198696.1543018757 but I am having issues with the last step. I run the command to import the SQL to the new DB, it appears to complete but the file size of the new DB is 0 bytes…

Server Version#: 1.15.6.1079
Player Version#: 3.100.1
Ubuntu 18.04

Have you performed the procedure while Plex was stopped/shutdown?
If not, stop Plex, then repeat.

If Plex was already shutdown, the file might be not repairable.

Yes, Plex was off. A buddy sent me this article to try as well…Corrupt db, using the posted method to fix results in a zero byte file

So have you tried the fix mentioned in the link?

Or did you try to repair one of the backups?

I followed the first guide on the original DB (No Backups). When the last step failed, i then was given the other guide about the corrupt DB and using COMMIT at the end of the file to fix it.

Went into the dump.sql file, change the last line to COMMIT, saved…then did the last line from the original guide. The new DB file was of relative size. Fired plex right up and it worked just fine.
