Dashboard no longer showing codec being used

Recently updated the QNAP version of Plex Media Server to version 1.41.1.9057.

When logged into the web interface and on my admin account, I’ve noticed that the codec being used to play back media is no longer shown. It just says “720p” for video or “English” for subtitles, for example.

Before the update, it would give the current codec being used, such as “720p (H.264)” or “English (SRT)”, much like it is displaying “English (AAC Stereo)” for the audio track.

Is there any way to turn that back on? I found that information very useful.

It’s been confirmed as a bug in this thread Upgrade to Server 1.41.1.9057 caused the video codec information to be removed!

Aaah, thank you! I did a search before posting but apparently I missed that.

Appreciate the reply. Glad it’s “only” a bug a not a design choice.
