Data breach / leak?

Dear community

I already contacted plex support about this issue but did not receive any reply:

I am using a dedicated email address for each service I register (e.g. plex@mydomain.com). I am recently receiving spam emails to my plex email-address. Since I did not publish this email anywhere, I assume that there has been a data leak somewhere.

Is there anything known about this? Can plex support please give a statement?
