I would love to have the feature, that plex takes care of deduplicated music files within my library.
So, I dont have to manually deduplicate same music files across different albums.
This could be done with CRC checksums (hashes) or other techniques (ref). Also, different version of the same song should be reflected in the file size especially when they are of different length / duration.
How would this work when you have different versions that have the same name? The CRC would be different as would the size. Would it only work in the same folder? How would it know which one to keep?

in case of different version but same title, both version shall stay in place. Only exact similar version shall be deduplicated.

In best case, it should work across the entire music library.
