I’m surprised this still has not been addresses. It is a very big pain for TV shows.

I just moved from Kodi to Plex and thought that I had to missing something when I had to manually switch the audio from stereo to 5.1 each time I played a movie or TV show. There simply had to be a global default audio setting? Plex is really slick and powerful and I can imagine that most people with a decent AV setup will be tempted to Plex but that only makes this omission all the more of a disappointment and head scratcher This would be a much appreciated fix so please give it a look…

How is this not fixed yet ?!! I would think that the $$ to be lost to sales of other streaming devices alone would make this a priority to fix. Informed consumer says to self “I guess I’ll be buying the Roku Ultra over the NVIDIA Shield TV” . . .
