Searched all the forums for this but still no answer. I am on Plex app on iPad. Had set a download of 2 series. I can long press on the series itself in Downloads and it will let me delete the whole series but I cannot do the same for individual episodes, as there is no option when I long press on individual episodes. Also not able to swipe them to get any context/hidden menu. Seems like an easy add!, seeing as it is there for the series itself. Also requesting that you add in the auto deletion time for played episodes in the knowledge base. I had requested ânext 5 unplayed episodesâ but none have deleted yet, having watched 4 of the 5. Makes sense to give people the flexibility to delete what they want when they want, as well as having the auto delete option still active in the background. Thanks.
You can currently only delete the âdownload itemâ from a client. If you triggered the download on a tv show, the download item is that show, not individual seasons or episodes.
This behavior should be the same across the different clients supporting downloads (itâs not specific to iOS)
Yes, i know. That is precisely the issue. It should be a simple addition by the devs to be able to add in a âdelete episodeâ option, wouldnât you agree, seeing ad there is already one there for the season/show, and the fact they are offering the option to download X number of episodes as part of the offline downloading features. For a paid app as part of Plex Pass lifetime, it feels an essential addition.
Itâs certainly not simple as thereâs a lot of the download feature that depends on the download item (e.g. how Plex will sync/update/refresh a download job. Though that doesnât diminish your suggestion.
