Delete offer after watching a TV Series Episode

1. After watching a TV Episode, before playing the next in the series, offer to delete the one watched.

2. Have a global setting to Auto-Delete watched episodes of TV Series after X number of days.

There’s an existing feature suggestion addressing #1. I suggest you vote/comment in that thread to avoid duplicates / distraction of votes.

Delete on finish

Like TiVo, delete dialog on finishI don't know how many folks would find this useful, obviously based on your use case. For me I use my tv shows and podcasts library sections in plex the same way I use my TiVo. I don't hang onto things, I delete most things when I'm done watching. In the same way the TiVo works, I'd like it if when I finish a video in plex if it'd ask me if I'd like to delete the file. Obviously this would be on off/on setting, perhaps even just being enabled for those of us…

You can already configure Plex to automatically delete shows x days after watching them. Check out the Advanced tab of an individual show (Edit the show entry, Advanced > Delete episodes after playing). From what I remember, this feature focuses on DVR content but you can configure your local tv-shows just the same.

Therefore closing this thread (#1 → duplicate, #2 → implemented)
