Delete body
I believe I have a similar issue. Certain files will freeze completely and, in most cases, refuse to continue until I've played a different file for a few seconds.
The file will be playing fine and then suddenly freeze and the OSD will show a spinning circle where the play/pause icons normally are.
What logs/info would be helpful?
