Honestly Plex this has been requested since several years back. I’ve gone through several threads and it seems like staff never respond. I’ve been a loyal plex pass member for a good while and sent several family members the same way.
I don’t understand why this isn’t implemented since it can hardly be hard to fix.
All the while we have received several “features” that most users have no interest in what so ever.
Would be very grateful if this could be considered for 2020.
So if a client cannot deal with a video and you have disabled transcoding… that should result in an error message like „sorry… nothing for you. Try a different playback device!“?
