Within the Discover source (beta) area, when you select “Manage Streaming Services,” there are A LOT of streaming services and options that you can select. However, I noticed a few that weren’t listed (namely Dish Network or Dish Anywhere, among others). Having the ability to add a streaming service to my list of services would enable Plex to continue to “pull” the data and display it within the Discover source.
Simply pointing to a service using a name or URL won’t give Plex any of its data. Plex relies on data that’s available with a third party who’s aggregating that information from many different platforms.
