Even if it’s not covered by the privacy policy, this is just common sense. Don’t share data that you don’t have explicit, enthusiastic consent to share. This reeks of a weak excuse to collect more data on their premium users, at the expense of our friends and families privacy.

Watch state sync is disabled until you explicitly enable it, it’s not default behaviour.
