Does Plex still allow more than 3 hardware transcodes with Nvidia .dll patch

Hi Guys,

Recently upgraded to Windows 11 and I’m not sure if this is as a result of the upgrade or possibly a Plex server update but I seem to be limited to 3 HW transcodes again. I previously patched the Nvidia .dll file to unlock my Geforce 1050ti card to allow more than 3 streams.

I have tried re-installing the appropriate (older) graphics driver and re-patch but no joy.
I’m running the latest Beta Version 1.25.0.5246

Just wondered if people are still able to run more than 3 streams?

The limit is imposed by Nvidia, not by Plex.

You might check with the source of the modified drivers regarding Windows 11 support.

Thanks for the reply, I managed to get it working as had to patch both the x86 & 64bit dll files.
