Double Nat problem with 4G Wifi Routeur

Hi,

I have a issue with Remote Access with my plex server…

My Plex server is running on a Synology DS418play. The NAS is connected to the TP-Link TL-MR6400 which is a 4G router… And it’s not working. According to Plex, it’s due to “Double Nat” issue. I I’m not a expert on network stuff but i understand that kind of problems happens when you connect to internet via two or more routers and that’s not my case… I only have one.

Can someone help me ?

You’ll need to check with your ISP. Cellular routers typically run something called CG-NAT. In other words, there is a NAT router upstream of you from your provider. You can’t change this so you won’t be able to open up remote access.

Thanks for your answer… I unfortunately have to wait for high-speed internet in my city :frowning: I wont be able to open up remote access in 2020 thats fur sure ahah
