OMG please fix this buggy thing. The download mode just doesn’t work very well in a myriad of ways. AND, even when I tell it to download the content to the SD Card, it downloads to the internal storage…PLUS…please, in addition to making this work much better, please, allow us to direct WHERE EXACTLY the downloads go.
So… what exactly is your suggestion? Something like a „save as“ button that lets you download a video to a custom spot on your mobile’s file system (or whatever spot might be accessible through the mobile’s file system / connected drives)?
There’s already an existing suggestion asking to expand the options where to download media to, including an option to download to places accessible to other apps. If that’s what you’re looking for, please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes by having duplicate suggestions (in which case I suggest we close this thread).
I should think that anybody who would care to understand and had even a wit of intellegence beyond that of snarkiness would understand. But, as it would appear that you are a bit dense, I will take the time to explain a bit.

As it is right now, when I select “External Storage” in the storage location of the downloads section of the settings, It STILL downloads to the “internal storage”. This is a bug and, I could be wrong, but, I didn’t see a “bug reporting” thread on this forum. If there is one, I appologize and ask to be directed there.

If you’ve ever tried to use the offline/dowloaded content of the android app, you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say it is a bit of a buggy mess and there is no reason for me to go into the myriad of detail

To answer your question though, in the storage location setting in the dowloads menu, there are two options, internal storage, and external storage. I was asking that this be made a tad bit more robust to allow us to navigate to a specific folder within those options; that’s all.
In that case I kindly invite you to comment/vote in the existing suggestion thread I’ve linked above.
As for further posting in this forum I encourage you to make an effort to not insult users.
