Whenever I try to manually install Plex Media Server I get a prompt saying:
“This package is not supported on the platform of DiskStation or is incompatible with the current DSM version”
I’m running DSM 6.1.6-15266 on my DS218+ and trying to install the latest version from the downloads page (1.13.0.5023-31d3c0c65)
From what I’ve seen on this list it should still be compatible
There is no support for ARMv8 (RealTek) based models (Synology or QNAP) at this time.
We are working on it but there is nothing yet available.

DS218 or the DS218+.
If the DS218+ (Intel J3455 CPU), yes it’s supported.
Did you download the 64 bit Intel version or did you accidentally download the ARM v7 version from the Downloads page?
