DVR issue... keeps recording after show is over

just recently, the DVR recordings sometimes keeps recording after it shows the recording is 100% complete … the show does not appear in New TV Shows on home page and when I try to cancel or stop the recording or even restart server… the recording is lost… any ideas?

also in settings Live TV & DVR … a warning message "device not found. Ensure your device is powered on and connected to your network… HOWEVER, the local channels are all up and running on web and all client devices…
