Since the last most recent beta update recorded tv when played back is randomly stuttering at various times during playback.
I have been using the DVR function ever since it was introduced and this is the first time that this is happening. Just enough to be annoying.
This happens on everything I record from my HDHomeRun Connect

Do you have remove commercials feature enabled? I have had issues with the built in comskip causing stuttering in the post-processed file on my setup. I’m running the 1.16 version, haven’t upgraded to 1.17 or the 1.18 beta yet to see about impact.
I tried that. Made no difference.
You aren’t the only one experiencing this with 1.18. I’ve got a thread here on this problem, and a number of others have reported the issue as well. Rolling back to the latest public release (1.17) fixed this for me.
I tried the latest beta and there was still stuttering with recorded DVR so I have also rolled back to 1.17
So what PMS v are you running now that it is ok? I would like to downgrade if I can.
Hi, I’m now running 1.18.1.1973 and are having no issues anymore with any stuttering when recording or watching TV live.

1.18.1.1973 is still stuttering for me. What ver. of 1.17 are people having success with?
1.17.0.1709 is what I’m “stuck” on. Only bug I deal with is duplicate recordings here and there for some shows. Great otherwise.
argh - I have 1.17.0.1841. (right after 1709 I think). Wasn’t 1841 the one that broke the permissions though so things wouldn’t start? (or did that come later?)
Can we download these earlier versions from Plex or somewhere else?
Also, reading forums it sounds to me like the stuttering/jitters should be fixed already. Should I create a post about my case? Or from your reading does it sound to you like they are aware that there is still a problem somewhere?

I have no idea what is or isn’t fixed in future versions. Until they bring back the ability to filter the epg for shows by channel I’m not upgrading.
