It would be great to be able to provide a time range and day selection rather than just a specific time for a recording. For example if I was to want to record Emmerdale in the UK on ITV HD, I could set to only record episodes aired Mon-Fri between 6pm - 9pm on Channel 103. This would help where some evenings the show starts early if there’s live football, some evenings there are two episodes (normally 7pm and 8pm) and easily discount any repeat showings during the day or at weekends.
Agreed. I just noticed that US Masterchef starts tonight, the adult one; apparently the junior version, which airs tomorrow and which I’m not interested in, is now also called Masterchef with a subtitle “junior edition”. So, recording “Masterchef” catches them both.
If I could restrict it to a day of the week, I would avoid catching the junior edition altogether.
