Each episode automatically after eachother when watching an entire season, but can't continue.

Tried to explain this as simple as possible in the title, but don’t think I did it much justice.

Basically when you are watching an entire season of something on xbox one, you are able to do so with each episode playing automatically after each other, which is great, but if you have to stop watching for some reason and you go to pick up from were you left off, you’re not able to continue with the ability for each episode to automatically play, instead you now have to manually click each episode.

Now it appears on the deck, so I thought this would have continued with this ability since I was playing an entire series, but for some reason you have to do it manually unless you play the series again (which plays from the start again) and then skip to the last episode you were on.

Is it possible to continue playing a season without having to manually play each episode or without skipping through the season in order to get to the episode you were on? I haven’t seen any information regarding this and it’s a bit of an annoyance. Even if you could click on the season to play, and instead of playing from the start it asks if you want to continue…

We’ll be changing this in the future to:

  • Play season will play from next item On Deck
  • Play from On Deck hub will continuous play from that item
  • (Eventually) post play view between episodes and always play continuous

I can’t promise when exactly, but it is on our list. Sorry it’s not quite there yet!

Sorry it’s not quite there yet!, it’s coming that’s the important thing :slight_smile: atleast now I know :P, but until then I’ll just work around it the issue.
