Having created some long DJ mixes for myself, and stored them in Plex for playback, I’d really love to be able to add some data on which tracks are part of the mix (possibly with timestamps).
I have however found that there’s no option to add any data of that sort to a given track, and the only field I could possibly misuse is the “Review” field on an album.
Would it possible to get a field for adding such custom data, maybe even limited to local media?
Should it already exist and I’m just blind as a bat, then please direct me to where I can find it.
Edit: It would be really cool, if this could somehow be chained together with playback of the song.
Example: I have marked the beginning of each song with a timestamp in description. When playing back the mix, e.g. in Plexamp, it is then showing the current song playing (as a sub-title), based on the latest timestamp “triggered”.
It could be a format like:
[02:34] <artist> - <title>.
[05:46] <artist> - <title>.
Even easier would of course be if I could upload a .cue file to be incorporated as meta data for the track. The .cue file already contains all the needed information.
