Editing added_at date doesn't remove item from recently added section anymore

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6562

I’m running Plex on macOS and last year, I was able to edit a movie’s added_at date in Terminal and remove it from the recently added section. I tried the same again now, but the movie is still there, and I can see the value updated in DB Browser.

This is the command I ran:
“/Applications/Plex Media Server.app/Contents/MacOS/Plex SQLite” “$HOME/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases/com.plexapp.plugins.library.db” “UPDATE metadata_items SET added_at=‘1674483776’ WHERE id = 155069”

I stopped the server before and re-started it after. Has this method changed? Thanks in advance.

That should work. I do that too. PMS does utilize caches so it might just be that, especially on Web where the browser gets in the way too. Close and reopen the browser or just wait a bit for the cache to expire then do a refresh.

I ran the command again, cleared the Caches folder in Plug-in Support, and opened a browser in Incognito and opened the app on an Apple TV, but still no change. Is there a different cache I have to wait out? What’s strange is that when I did this early last year, it was instant after I restarted the server. I might’ve just had to re-analyse the movie in Plex. Thanks

1674483776 = Monday, 23 January 2023 14:22:56 which is most likely why its not being moved from the recently added view. I’m guessing your using the wrong value here.

Derp, what a dumb mistake. I copied the wrong value after converting. Thanks
