A friend of mine does use Chromecast to stream movies from my PMS. Today I monitored a strange behavior. He was watching a movie when I restarted the server. After all has been startet again, I got an endless loop of log entries (see attached movie of screen). I am not sure if this belongs to the Plex/Web forum or if it is a PMS topic, but since I monitored it with the latest version of Plex/Web, I post it here:

I was able to reproduce this after tinkering around some. It seems like the problem is on the Chromecast side of things, but I'm still looking into a fix.
Just had the same loop all day long today. First time from a user paused a movie on Chromecast, second from myself while pausing a movie on PHT (see print screen below, playing Noah was reported at least 20 times). So the issue seems not really be Chromecast only, but something with logging while a movie is on pause. Hope that helps!

Its June 2015, 9 months after the initial report. I'm running the latest PMS 0.9.12.4 for Ubuntu and the problem is still happening. The client is using Firefox, not Chromecast and the alerts seem to indicate that the user has two videos paused simultaneously, since it alternates between alerting about two different videos.
The Now Playing view also seems to be affected, or perhaps it is indicating something about the cause: it shows one preview tile for the user but the preview keeps flipping between the two paused movies listed in the alerts. If I click the Edit link on the now playing preview, the info displayed is for a third, completely different, video. The same incorrect info is displayed for both paused videos, but when I find the videos in my library and check the info, it is correct. Is this somehow related?
I can't figure out any way to stop it, even after restarting the server. This is very annoying and its filling up my logs.

I have the same issue. Playing to my PS4 from my computer. I also have some stuttering issues during playback, but that’s unrelated to this logging issue.
