is it possible to change layout to a more “classic” view like the type im used to through my normal television
(epg signal is not available in screenshot, i know :slight_smile: )

Thanks for your reply. Not sure this is the right place, but is there any plans for grid layout, or should i post somewhere else for making a feature request?

A Plex Employee commented on other threads that at this time they are not looking at a traditional grid layout.

Rovi currently owns several patents that are currently in the US Courts from litigations between Rovi and Netflix. If the patents are upheld by Supreme Court then anyone using a grid layout will have to pay Rovi royalties for using a grid layout. If Supreme Court sides with lower courts and patent is overturned then perhaps Plex will look at grid layout but until this issue is resolved they more than likely will not adopt a grid layout.

as many other software and hardware products have grid view, eg DVBlogic, and all major TV vendors, it should only be a matter of paying a fee. As a plex LTM i surely would like to pay a fee for that type of service. It could be made as an optional fee.
