Fast-forward/rewind support

Hi,



final piece and I reckon my plugin is more or less done. I’m trying to get fast-forward and rewind to work with a flash based feed.



I’ve a seekbar defined thus:



















and what I assume this means is that (126,369) is the far left hand extent of the draggable thumb, (469,369) is the far RHS and the bar in-between the extents turns black when done. But, I can’t get ff/rewind to work. The numbers spin but the video does not move. Pause/play works.



Any ideas or assumptions I’m making that are incorrect?

I had similar problems … and usually the COLOR was the issue.



A way around this is to use a NEGATIVE cause " GREEN "



In essence the system looks through the defined seekbar: RRRRRRR(G)RRRRR and seeks until it finds the color match you defined. from there it executes the click and drag things.



Also make sure your Y-Coordinate is correct (this can lead to a different color.



Again a way around this is to define MULTIPLE colors in an tag.



Lastly, try to start the PMS in a terminal window and see what it does (clicks here / there etc.)

Thanks, it does. I was assuming the colour in the thumb seekbar was what it turned after the whole video was done, not the colour of the piece representing the played vs unplayed video. Now I’ve thought about (triggered by your reply) the second makes much more sense. I need to work on this in the morning, not after a days work eh?
