Feature Request-Ability to resume playlist

I would like to have the ability to resume my playlists from my last used position. I enjoy building playlists for multi-series franchises, particularly Star Trek. My Star Trek playlist is currently at 903 episodes. Needless to say, having to manually scroll through this playlist every time I want to watch the next episode is rather tedious. I would like to be able to use playlists to essentially take these multi-verse shows, and place them under one volume, in the order I want to play them in, without having to manually scroll through the list every single time I access it. From the same way I can stop an episode midway through and Plex will remember where I am in the episode, I want it to remember where I am in the playlist.

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option for Plex to remember the progress of items in a playlist to resume with the next item. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
