I would love the ability to send a small message to my remote clients as information. Like today where I live we had a severe thunderstorm warning and it was raining very hard. Thought I was about to lose power. I would love to send a message to my remote users saying something to the effect of “If your movie suddenly stops playing, it’s because we lost power due to thunderstorms”. That way I avoid the text slams I would get if I did lose power if the server was offline. The tech is already there. The “Stop Playback” option sends a message but it stops playback. Just code something so it doesn’t stop playback when the message is sent.
Second would be an automated message when a stream starts to my remote users. I was thinking maybe a short message telling them to send an email to me if you want to request anything to add. So they know how to send me a request easier.
