Currently, the “automatic camera upload” feature dumps all photos and videos in a single folder. As our photo collection grows rapidly (especially if several people in the family contribute to the same folder), the number of files that a single folder can handle becomes problematic in some systems.
It would be nice to have automatic sorting of the uploaded photos and videos like this:
/Camera Roll
/2017
/04 April
/2017-04-21

I’m currently doing this automatic sorting via Applescript and Folder Actions in MacOS. If anyone is interested in the script please let me know, I’ll clean it up and post it here.
