I liked your idea in the one post. The method the other person lined out seemed like to much work. Especially if there's a good chance you would have to redo our after an update.
I would like to see a straight forward easy option built into Plex.

Thanks. You need to click 'Like This' button on the first post in any of the feature request threads that you agree with and like. That is how the developers assess the user needs and popularity. I am told it is one of the factors they use.

With the multiple posts already in place best now is to set 'Like This' on the first of all of these related requests (where it is easy to find them). In this thread this one plus two others have been identified.

If I understand correctly, this forum (Feature & Bug Voting) is the place where they want us to vote with the 'Like This' button. The other two posts mentioned are in other forums, so the original post in this thread would be the place to click 'Like This.'

Please add your votes to one or both of these existing threads.. the votes the first post gets in a thread the more popular it is..
Also the Devs have also indicated that this IS on the road map but not very high priority... The fuctionality already exists in part in some clients and you can do it by editing the database to a degree.

While this is an earlier suggestion for that feature, the discussion is heavily laced with outdated features or UI references, outdated forum links). Therefore closing those older ones in favor of a more recent version
