Would anyone else like a DVR/Library space utilization option? Option would be just that “optional” by selecting check box under “Settings” “Server” “Library” - Turn on Space Utilization Reporting. Mock up of a potential image is included

I love this idea and your mock-up. It would also be nice if there was some visual indication of how much media is destined for that drive. For instance, if I have an external drive that is nearly full but I specifically never record things to that drive I don’t know that I’d want it to show up as a big red bar. Maybe the colors could indicate the risk.
Red: Low space and recordings will be put there in the next 2 weeks
Yellow: Low space but no recording are scheduled to go there
Perhaps your color bars are meant to indicate some of that information.
Alternatively if we could turn off warnings for specific drives that would resolve the issue. I often have drives with archived recordings that are nearly full.
I totally support this feature request. I have used several PVR apps over the years - They all allowed the end user to see from the client how much recording space was available. Otherwise is it just run to failure? Just keep recording until you run out of space? How would you know? I came to the forums to look up how to display this system info - very surprised to find it is not currently possible.
+1 for this, both a detailed breakdown in the the server control panel, and a graphic like mocked up in the playback apps.
Its pretty shocking this isn’t built into the product. In one week of testing Plex. Its starting to seem that Plex isn’t run like a business, even though we have to pay for the Plex Pass.
