Would love to have genre as a column in List View. In my case, I’m mostly concerned with Music, but it could also be useful in movies/tv shows. Also, the ability to adjust the Genre for an album right from the list view would be great.
I can’t believe that this isn’t already in there, and that there aren’t more votes.
My partner and I just took the deep dive into Plex with a NAS purchase and getting all of our music onto it. Love everything, but not having Genre available as an option in List view is a huge missing for us.
From a dev perspective, adding one more option probably isn’t that tricky, but it’s another step down the slippery slope of when do users stop asking for more. Love to have a “choose your own” list maker, which would be the way off the slippery slope - but that’s probably a big investment.
