Would it be possible to get Plex media server to poll/access the media storage location the second it detects someone accesses Plex even just to browse the library.
I have my media on a NAS and my Plex library on a Intel NUC. My NAS is set to sleep and the hard drives spin down (I only access Plex once a day so this is a great way to save power and prolong drive life). However they take about 10-15 seconds to spin back up and at this point Plex hangs when playing a media file (as Plex only accesses the drive when you click play on a media item).
It would be great if Plex would pole/access the media storage drive the second you launch the Plex app on whatever device you use.
