Please consider updating the Playlist UI to include the Played/Unplayed status of a given item in the list and allow users to resume the playlist and individual items.
Currently playlists are just a long list and selecting an item starts it from the beginning regardless of whether or not that item has a resume point. There’s no way to tell where you left off, etc. Watching through a long playlist basically requires tracking it manually.
The requested features would have the Android TV version fall in line with how playlists behave on the Roku version. On Roku it’s simple to scroll down the list find the latest unwatched item (orange tag in the corner), select the item and choose whether or not to resume/start over. Thanks.
