Every once in a while I’m browsing my media… I watch mostly tv… and I come across some content that I’d long since forgotten I added and never even tried. Sometimes a brand new series I didn’t even know existed then I added it and forgot all about it. When I come across this stuff I’d like to be able to add it to a list of some sort so that when I can’t find anything to watch I can browse to that list. I have a playlist setup for this but it won’t display on a series basis, just on an individual episode basis which is terribly ineffective.
Honestly for TV Shows the best current solution to this is to start playing the first episode, scrub in a little way, then leave. This will add it as part-played and it’ll begin to appear on “On Deck”. Of course I’d love the ability to force content to my “On Deck” for the exact purpose you’ve described, including films I intend to watch soon, and maybe even particular songs or albums which I’m addicted to for the moment. Don’t think it’d need a new section, but letting us manually force things into “On Deck” would provide this functionality and be great.
I too would love this feature. I would like to see it have its own section. I have a fairly large collection and lose new shows and movies often. I would love to be able to scroll through my libraries and click a button to “save something for later” and have it added to its own section.
