The administration and maintaining of a Plex server will be really hard if you get hundreds of items in your server libraries.
It would be nice to have a possibility to add a shared managed users wishlist to the Plex server which could be accessed from the administrator to maintain or add content to the server.
Think of that:
Someone search an item in your library and could not find the item but then the Plex server shows in the search results a recommend the item/movie to the administrator.
In case the searched item/movie/words are already in the shared wishlist it will show a already in the wishlist icon in the search bar together with when it was set to the wishlist.
I think the ecosystem is already there and I would love to have this added.
Later maybe someone could write an extension for this to integrate imdb for this.
Also someone did an extension plugin for browsers where an item could be opened directly from the imdb page in your Plex server by adding a button to the imdb page with the browser plugin. Therefore I would love to see this also extended for the shared managed users wishlist.
But if the basic function mentioned above could be implemented I would be very happy. It can save so many time.
Also a report a error/bug button in Plex should be there in case something was wrongly done in the plex dance with linking correct pictures, texts or if the file on the server seems to be damaged or has other flaws.
The background of this is to actively help the server to maintain libraries from users with this idea. I won’t walk through more than hundreds of items or movies to search for errors. Too time expensive.
