The Plex team just doesn’t seem to get it. Nobody wants Dolby or DTS logos or the names written out. We just want a distinction as described several times here.
But Plex doesn’t even manage to properly output EAC3 at 7.1.
Apparently that’s at the bottom of the list for the Plex team. It’s better to redesign the design five times before addressing the technical and in my opinion more important problems.
The inquiries have been around for years and no movement in sight.
